- I am a native Maori from New Zealand. I am from the Waikato tribe and my subtribe is Ngati Mahanga Horua. My mountain is Taupiri and my waka (boat) is Tainui. I am married to Donna Tairakena. During the day I teach the English language to Asian students and at night I fulfil my musical and creative drive as a drummer in bands.
